Industry

Pharmaceutical

Hygienic materials for increased safety in pharmaceutical applications.

The majority of mechanical polymer components, required by the pharmaceutical sectors, are found in processing, filling and packaging technology.

We produce a range of low friction & FDA compatible material properties proven to significantly reduce risk of contamination within high volume hygienic production.

FDA Compatible Materials

Suitable of FDA application.

Chemical Resistant

Chemical resistance properties ensures materials can withstand the strictest of hygienic site washing regimes.

Low Friction

Low coefficient friction qualities make Nylon the ideal replacement for traditional materials in high wear applications.

Recommended Materials

PTFE
PTFE
Polytetrafluoroethylene, commonly known as PTFE is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene. An incredibly versatile material grade, PTFE features non-wetting and non-stick surface properties, high-density formulation and high-temperature resistance, making PTFE a truly versatile material with a wide variety of applications.
POM-C (Acetal)
POM-C (Acetal)
POM-C otherwise known as Acetal Copolymer features highly crystalline resins, making this material strong and rigid, with a low coefficient of friction in comparison to metals and other plastics. POM-C is also creep resistant and is recommended for applications where dimensional stability is important.
Nylacast Oilon
Nylacast Oilon
The leading Oil Filled Nylon for over 40 years.
PA6 Food Grade
PA6 Food Grade
Our PA6 Food Grade material is compliant in FDA applications such as food and pharmaceutical applications, whilst retaining all the material characteristics of our standard WFN product.Available in Plate, Rod & Tube profiles.
Nylastat
Nylastat
A conductive Nylacast special grade material, suitable for use in certified ATEX zones and more general anti-static applications.Available in Plate & Rod profiles only.
Polypropylene (PP)
Polypropylene (PP)
Polypropylene (PP) features excellent chemical and acid resistance properties in addition to high impact strength.
PEEK
PEEK
Polyetheretherketone, commonly known as PEEK is a high-performance engineering plastic, featuring excellent mechanical strength, dimensional stability and high operating temperatures.
PA6/12
PA6/12
Our Nylon 6 & Nylon 6 co-polymer,  offering excellent dimensional stability and reduced moisture absorption
