PA6

This unmodified grade of cast nylon 6, produced by an anionic polymerisation casting process, demonstrates similar characteristics to PA66. Cast nylon shapes contain significantly lower stress levels, combined with high strength, good wear resistance result in greater dimensional accuracy when machining.

Highly Machinable

PA6 Cast Nylon material is highly machinable, its dimensional stability and low internal stress means this material will not warp, expand or shrink during CNC machining. The self-lubricating qualities of the material additionally ensure that no lubrication is required unlike traditional materials such as steel.

Strong & Durable

Our PA6 cast Nylon offers grade many improved characteristics over traditional materials & extruded polymers, these include:
  • Good wear & abrasion resistance
  • Excellent mechanical, thermal & chemical resistant properties
  • Resistance to creep & heat ageing

Wide Range of Sizes Available

All of our PA6 cast nylons is manufactured in-house utilising our own facilities. As the base grade of all cast nylon PA6 is available thought our whole delivery program for sheets, rods, tubes and custom casting requirements.
